With the new concept of maxi- mum safety, efficiency and ease of use, the WTV 2020 sets standards with a view to the future. The centrepiece is the newly developed suspen- sion, which has already been tried and tested in the service life test, with a direct support and integrated hose adapters. This not only improves the appearance and the air resistance values. The vehicle can also be cleaned more easily in an automatic car wash. In addition, WTV 2020 fulfils the much stricter ECE rules, such as rear under-run protection for commercial vehicles. Successful in the test Of course, such a new development also inclu- des an extensive test phase in practice. Two ve- hicles are already successfully in field use at our customer, Horst Pöppel GmbH & Co. KG in Regensburg. Since February, the prototype, which was also exhibited at the expo PetroTrans. The equipment of the vehicle is characterised among other things by the lightweight cabinet V2 and short hose fitting tubes in the chassis. The first ve- hicle of the zero series has been in service there since May 2019. The equipment features are here i.a. hose fitting tubes in the chas- sis extended to the support bra- cket, four-link cabinet and the WILLIG auto-level function (WAL). Thus, during unloading, the tank is properly lifted or lowered automatically accordingly. The second WTV 2020 of the zero series is under construction and will be on display at the WILLIG in-house exhibition in August. This vehicle is intended as a rental semi-trailer. The saddle is equipped with the newly developed lightweight V3 cabinet, the four-joint kinematics with improved lever geometry for better ergono- mics, extended hose fitting tubes in the chassis and also with WAL. The third and last vehicle of the pilot series is expected to be built in the 3rd to 4th quarter of 2019 and equipped with a continuous fittings cabinet.
