No Limits - Edition 53

THE NETHERLANDS: NO. 5 FOR THE SCHENK FLEET TENDER OFFER: ON THE "TRACKS" OF THE PAST NEW DEVELOPMENT FOR NIJHOF-WASSINK B.V. The international trans- port company Schenk- Papendrecht B.V. already has five vehicles from WILLIG in its fleet. Just re- cently, another tank was delivered: a Volvo FM. The four-axle vehicle has a capacity of 31,500 litres, spread over four chambers. It is typical for the Netherlands that both loading and discharge are arranged on the right. The latter is equipped with a double measuring system, hose reel, quick-release hose and additivation. The successful cooperation with Schenk is based above all on the great trust for which WILLIG especially thanks Arjan and Harry Schenk. The Dutch-based international logistics provi- der Nijhof-Wassink B.V. has been a satisfied WILLIG customer for many years and has purchased a total of 25 vehicles from Strau- bing. In 2019, a new petrol station supplier for the Netherlands was developed together - with 51,000 litre capacity, five chambers, dipstick and direct outlet. A great relief here: WILLIG has carried out and passed the audit of the Dutch vehicle registration authority RDW (Rijksdienst voor het Wegverkeer) in the Netherlands. For this, Hans van Amerongen spent two days at WIL- LIG in Straubing and informed himself about the production and the quality control of the sheet metal up to the complete vehicle. Who has still an old WILLIG vehicle - with the year of construction until 1992, with the weight of 7.5 tons - or knows someone who owns such a vehicle? WILLIG is looking for such a distribution tanker, which should be re- stored as an apprentice project. Customers can contact the WILLIG sales de- partment or Josef Niemeier (Tel. +49 9422/ 403535-75, e-mail: niemeierj@willig.eu ). WILLIG-QUALITY ABROAD Just like domestically, WILLIG quality is sought after by our neighbours. Special challenge: In addition to the individual wishes of the respec- tive customers, very specific requirements must be observed in each country. POLAND: COMPLETE STAINLESS STEEL PRO- DUCTION IN NIDZICA In order to further optimise the production proces- ses and to be able to fulfil the customers’ wishes in a shorter time with an unchanged high, reliable quality, WILLIG is shifting the production of stain- less steel vehicles, which are especially intended for the transport of AdBlue or for the disposal of emulsions, to Poland. “Qualitatively and quantitatively, it was necessary and sensible to separate aluminium and stainless steel. We therefore decided in March 2019 to award the VA manufacturing to our subsidia- ry WILLIG Polska Sp. z o.o. in Nidzica and its partner Elda Sp. z o.o.“, claims Andreas Gillner regarding the decision.
