Box-shaped lubricant oil transporter

Flexible and safe

Our trailers for the transportation of lubricants offer low mixing volumes, optimised handling and a high capacity. They are suitable for various different products and fulfil the quality guidelines of the respective bodies.

Technical data

Tank

Ideally designed for the transportation of lubricant oil, engine oil and ADR class 3 and 9 substances, the tank comes with a gross volume of 36,000 l. It is available with between 8 and 10 compartments.

Fitting

The semi-trailer is equipped with a continuous cabinet with parallelogram or swivel doors. A rear auxiliary cabinet can be added to hold a printer, overfill protection, slop tank, heating and/or hose reel.

Loading / Discharging

Loading options

  • Top loading via man hole
  • Suction via pump

Discharging facilities

Two lubricant oil measuring systems contained in the right cabinet have become the standard. The semi-trailer tanker can be fitted with up to three wet hose reel in the left cabinet and one hose reel in the rear cabinet. The hose reels are wound and unwound using a hydraulic system.

Electronics

Pumping equipment

The gear pump is powered hydraulically via the semi-trailer machine. The speed can be regulated as required to suit the product in question. The maximum pump rate is up to 200 l/min, depending on the viscosity of the product.

Heating / Insulation

Heating
The goods being transported are prevented from cooling by as a hot-water heating system with two longitudinal heating ducts. This system is generally installed in the auxiliary cabinet at the rear of the vehicle on the right.

Insulation
The semi-trailer tanker can be fully insulated with 70 mm mineral wool to suit the temperature conditions of the place of use if required.

Brakes / Air suspension

Braking comfort improved with integrated EBS/ABS brake system and RSS function. Vehicle safety can be increased through selective braking in the case of risk of tipping.

  • The EBS function accelerates reaction and pressure build-up times in the brake cylinders. This reduces the stopping distance by a few metres.
  • Driving stability is assured by the ABS function during the braking process.
  • The RSS function uses selective braking to prevent the tanker from tipping, jack-knifing or skidding.
  • The trailer air suspension can be managed mechanically via an air suspension valve or electronically via an ECAS control box.

Safety

The semi-trailer can be fitted with additional safety and technical features:

Lighting

Lateral marker lights on the semi-trailer tankers are equipped with LED lights as standard. Benefit: service life of up to 15 years, high light intensity and colour consistency.

ADR Features

Each semi-trailer tanker is supplied with full ADR features for road-worthiness. Depending on the type of vehicle, you receive:
