Safety first

Willig tank bodies are available in the AT version for transporting 1202 diesel/heating oil and in the FL version for transporting 1202 diesel/heating oil and 1203 gasoline.

Tank

The tank sizes are selected to suit the vehicle chassis and the product being transported (AT or FL) and come in the following options:

  • Two-axle vehicle: 5,000 to 14,500 l, generally 2 or 3 compartments
  • Three-axle vehicle: 18,000 to 22,500 l, generally 2 or 3 compartments
  • Four-axle vehicle: 20,000 to 30,000 l, generally 3 or 4 compartments

Loading / Discharging

Tank connection

We have developed a fully elastic tank connection for our tank bodies. It offers improved transmission of force into the chassis frame. It improves vehicle handling by reducing the twisting between the chassis frame, the storage tank and the tank body. All chassis frames are hot-dip galvanised for long-term corrosion protection.
